Guest Post

I told a friend in California about the experiment and told him he should join in. He was kind of iffy on the idea. Then I got this response the next day:

so i apparently went out last night. And of all the days to have a waiter like this, she topped the cake. Unfortunately it was the three of us. One dude was married. the other in a relationship. I paid cash and they had credit card so i couldn't leave my number.

But if we want to talk about being in my league... she was in a totally different division. It just didn't feel right giving a number to a girl with Breast Implants. I guess rules should be discussed that its more of to get out of the comfort zone. But seriously. It was ridiculous!

So if i were part of that jess and your sis's blog. there would be my first entry. haha

Here's the deal...

We're two single gals... searching for some excitement in our lives. Out of boredom we decided to do this experiment and document the results for the world wide web to see. Feel free to leave us comments and let us know what you think. On the left is Lauren: a twenty-three year old middle child, who needs attention. She works in the dental field.
On the right is Jess: a twenty-seven year old looking for Mr. Right. Jess works with special needs kids.
The experiment is: whenever we go out to a restaurant we make an effort to step out of our comfort zone to initiate conversation (and a little flirting;-) with our waiter(s). At the end of the evening we leave our number on the receipt and then the ball is in his court.
We are not necessarily in search of our soul mate in this endeavor, but merely to satisfy our curious/flirtatious nature, while helping us practice casual conversation with the opposite sex.

We look forward to reading your comments.

Lots of love, Lauren and Jess.
